“ Fresh Fruit ”

Complimentary Colors, Orange and Blue. Two of my favorite fruits. Why not add in a few nuts and chocolate. On Thursday we installed granite counter tops and a workstation sink. This was taken on the sink cutting board with the natural light from the window.

Hi Michele! I really like your image for the week! The combination of colors, shapes, textures, and composition are really very nice. I like that you chose to go gently with the hue saturations as well. For consideration, the "scattered items" on the table in the foreground possibly look a bit too organized to me. While the image is obviously composed (as with any still life), the way the chocolates, nuts, and berries are placed makes it feel a bit contrived. Maybe experiment with a bit more random scattering? Just a thought. I do really like the shot overall. I can tell you put a lot of thought into it, with the sliced oranges, variety of interesting (but not overwhelming) surfaces and containers, and the nice diagonal lay of the towel in the background. Super job! :)
