“ Harakeke Flax flowers ”
We have Harakeke flax plants in the garden. I sometime see a Tui sucking the nectar from this flowers.
I still love using the portrait lens for its sharpness and the separation of the foreground and the background.
On the other hand I might be winding down from the 52 weeks challenge...

    I have Harakeke plants in my garden too and often use them in photos throughout the year. Love your lovely detailed shot of this harakeke flower. I acknowledge that it often difficult to come up with a shot each week. I’m lucky I don’t work so I have a little more. time than most. Just do what you can.
