“ Patched up pavement ”
I know this area used to have a railway lines to the silo storage area at Wynyard Quarter. The railway track is now filled with the resin to stop people from tripping over. As you see it been patched up from time to time.

    Nice capture Ian. Many of our streets in Christchurch are bonded together with this resin after the quakes. Your photo creates some great textures. Nice work.

    I thought it was a drone photo of a volcanic plateau at casual glance! All the different textures tie together to make a very interesting photo. My only thought would be to straighten it in line with the lines at the bottom. I really like it, welldone.
