    Well done for putting in the time and effort with the hike (especially the steep bits) and the time investment in shopping two photos together. Looks like a lovely spot. I have to say that I find the fallen tree above your head quite distracting. I wonder if there might have been a way to not have that in the shot with a tighter crop or a different angle? (obviously not always possible when you're out in the woods). With this shot, I might have been as brutal as to crop out the left third and the top from just below the tree to have more emphasis on the moving water and the chap standing beside it :)

    It would be hard to stand very still for 30 seconds.  Good thought process to blend the two...seamlessly too!  Nice!
