“ Evening Thorns ”

This is a mesquite tree in the winter time. Yes, that mesquite like you cook with. It has huge thorns that will poke you if your not paying attention. The sun had been below the horizon for a little bit and sometimes we get a lot of colors with the sunsets.

What a stunningly gorgeous sky! The silhouetted thorns and branches make a lovely foreground yet still illustrate depth of field. Original and well done
