“ Red Wax Cap ”

A red wax cap fungi growing in grassland, from a low down point of view. We seem to have an abundance of these mushrooms everywhere at the moment. They have formed nice groups and many have not been devoured by slugs yet (they must taste horrible).
This one was positioned on a slight rise ...
