“ Barbed Wire ~ Emotion ”
Yes, I understood the weekly theme. Objects evoke emotions, right? How do you feel when you view this photo? Does it make you feel uncomfortable or safe? Do you feel pain? Trapped? Snagged? Frustrated? Sad? What historical events do you connect to? Cry? Hopefully my point is proven.

Love the colors and the shallow depth of field. This image makes me uncomfortable because I know what it feels like to get caught in barbed wire!

Good shot, it definitely evokes a feeling of discomfort.  My mm and I were just talking about getting caught on barbed wire when we were younger.

Fantastic shot Tish, it does exactly what you wanted it to do! It makes me feel uncomfortable as I've been caught on barbed wire as a child when collecting brambles with my mum to make jam. It also reminds me very much of historical events in Europe where millions died at the hands of Hitler. I've visited Auschwitz-Birkenau and the barbed wire plays a large part in the emotions felt there. Great photo, it hit the spot!
