“ chives spring ”

The first sign of spring for me is the my chives bursting through the soil. I enjoy it in the background of the brick wall, like nature versus man.

This is a nice shot. I like the shadows amongst the chives against the shallow DOF/brick background. Focusing on the chives with such a large aperture is tricky. Nicely… more
