This week's challenge took me to Glasgow's Botanic Gardens where I took this flower shot in the glasshouse with tropical palms and banana trees in the background. The flower is not at its most beautiful but hopefully I've managed to show shallow depth of field although I found it impossible to ...

I think it's very beautiful. Maybe not in traditional sense but in a raw way it shows how with hard shell you can have beauty inside. The background works as great… more
