“ Oysterman ”

This is the man in the market packing us 12 delicious Marennes oysters. He was quite happy for me to take his photo when I asked. I like the muted tones of the plane tree behind him which echo the colours of his clothes.

i think this is a really nice portrait. I think having him look at the camera or looking straight rather than down would have made it stronger. I am jealous of how much… more
