This weeks’ contribution doesn’t shine… :o)
If I won’t have the oppurtunity to take another, this will do, telling myself that of 52 weeks there will be ups and downs - of course!

Nicely done. I like the deep black of the rim around the lampshade. Interesting camera settings. I'm guessing the lens was stopped down and the shutter speed was high to reduce the glow of the bulb? I'm always amazed that you can shoot iso 4000 with those fujis and get almost no grain.

Nice and humble week, and I think it was good that you took it black and white. The lamp is simple, the horizontal lines are simple, the simple thirds composition, this may not shine, but it's still nice and does a good job. Maybe if you either included a bit more on the bottom, or cut out the cable completely, the framing would be a bit cleaner, but it's good as it is as well.
