“ Au revoir ”

Going home after a weekend in Paris celebrating my 70th birthday. Oh lala what a wonderful city. I had forgot… no wonder, in the photo album I saw last time was in 1974 :)

Very "wow" photo. And not just because it's shot from an airplane (so it really IS shot from above). What I love is the clouds and their shadows, the contrast… more

Very "wow" photo. And not just because it's shot from an airplane (so it really IS shot from above). What I love is the clouds and their shadows, the contrast between that blotch of color down, with the dark, dark sky. The horizont line is great, and I think particularly so because it's not straight (otherwise it could seem boring). And the bright blotch on the wing, "SAS" pops out really nicely. A lot of good things on this photo, very good job.
