    I don't think its easy to communicate something about yourself and your personality through this task, but you've managed it beautifully.  Something as simple as a cup of tea in your hands immediately gives a point of connection.  I always think black and white for a portrait is a good choice - it means I focus more on a person's expression.  You've captured a welcoming and open look.
