    Each of your shots has a different mood/feel and I know you prefer the lower key one but I like the one you have posted. I like it's warmer golden glow and that we can see more of the environment, as context. It's not distracting as it's beautifully softened. The concentration of light in your statues hand makes it very clear what the subject is. The light and the lovely detailed pattern draw and keep my eye.  It just proves how subjective photographic appreciation is. I sometimes wonder that it's not just about the photograph and the mood the photographer wants to create but also the mood the viewer comes to the frame with... which will have a direct effect on what/how we see/feel.. oh way to deep a thought for me ???
