“ Silhouette ”

The reason I like this photo. Everything was actually in focus, but it was the texture of the slide that gave a soft blur to the shot, which was unexpected. It also made it appear curved when actually it was fairly flat. Really like the effect as ‘in focus’ led to a soften image. Interesting how ...

What a fantastic shot! You are so right about the slide and it having a soft blur appearance despite being in focus. You captured so many textures in this shot, from the bumpy clouds, the soft curls, and the smooth slide; all makes this a really interesting photo with much to absorb.
