    Hi Lauren! I like the very textured subject you chose for the black and white challenge, and the way the light on the pinecones draws the attention right to the middle. For consideration, I'm not sure how much I like the blurred effect caused by the compositing. I feel like my eye is a bit confused and out of focus, although that may have been the effect you were going for with this piece. Nice work this week getting an outdoor photo even when its super cold out!
