The three flowers catch my eye first – past their prime, but still attractive. Wabi-sabi indeed! Then I saw the bee - heading straight for the flowers, definitely on a mission. So these flowers still attract, still are part of the cycle of life. The bee is exactly the same color as the petals, and the same yellow is picked up in the bokeh background. Keeping it to just yellow and green with a bit of blue-white makes the image simple and undistracting. I might have cropped in a bit closer, to see more of the detail of the beautiful centre of the flowers. The lighting gives a sense of hiddenness, mystery – this little corner of nature living quietly and unobtrusively.
