I was aiming for the "interrogation room" feeling of a lonely chair with harsh overhead light, but it didn't come out very well. Maybe I should have used a white background, maybe I should have spent more time in post, maybe something else…

I can see where you were going with this. The colours are nice, and I like the reflection of the chair too. I wondered if a slightly different angle/crop, to position the chair in a more eye pleasing position would enhance the picture… but an interrogation room is an awkward, potentially disorienting place and the odd angle does rather add to that feeling. ??
