I have several hobbies. Some active which include interactions with other people and some which are more solitary, even a bit meditatiive. Like sewing. I wouldn't say I was highly skilled but I can do simple repairs and run up a pair of trousers with an elasticated waist in less than an hour...

    This was my hobby for a long time. I even made my own wedding dress 35 years ago. As time went on I swapped making clothes for home furnishing and now I only get my sewing machine out for alterations. It's a great hobby and seeing your image is giving me the itch to get it out - especially since you are making trousers in an hour - WOW. Good composition and leading lines to the point of interest. Fab lighting and love the B&W - good choice Ann.

    Hi Ann,
    I always wanted to be able to use a sewing machine but as a boy that was not really in the regular stream. Both my grandmothers were professional seamstresses. When I was young many out our clothes were made by the mother of my mother. A pity that not many people still make clothes themselves. 
    Your nice shot brought up many memories, thank you.
