In No. CA, we're blessed with 2 seasons, dry and wet, although lately dry is winning. As we enter another summer of drought, the lupine has blessed us with a remarkable scene. When I first arrived in CA, this area was underwater most summers. But now, it is about 1.5 miles from the water's edge...

    What a beautiful sight! Though temperatures above 40 °C sound awful to me. ? It's like one of this poppy flower field paintings - only in blue instead of red!
