“ Just a Match ”
I didn't have a lot of time to shoot this week, so just a simple black and white portrait lit by a single match and an off-camera light with a snoot. It's a bit grainy, but I kind of like the touch of roughness in this photo.

Great low key portrait, I think it had just the right amount of light and grain as you still get a lot of detail in the face.

Great composition with the large amount of negative space. It draws the focus even more onto the face

Splendidly lit portrait, and the graininess complements the mono treatment perfectly.
