“ Half a Century of Christmases ”

54 years ago, this ornament hung on my first Christmas tree. Now, it hangs still on my tree - a little worse for wear given the intervening years. There are fracture lines where cracks have been glued back together, some of her seed pearls are missing around the outside, and the gold twine it ...
