I've always wanted to try the Adamski effect, so chose that as a new technique this week. I originally tried with a bridge, but it was very difficult to isolate the subject with all of its intricacies and ended up looking pretty bad. I scoured my phone for photos I took this week and went with ...

I think you have a good baseline and from reading your description of the photo I think the next one you try with this effect in mind will turn out great!
