“ The Old Barn ”
I wish I had had more time and brainspace for this one. I love creative challenges. As it is - and due to a Canon feature that drives me crazy - I had to go with crappy cell pics. The canon as two on-switches, which is baffling me anyhow. Out in the field, you just check something, it goes into ...

As I was stranded with two crappy cell pics, I decided to steer into the skid and to do some practicing in PS. It's not perfect and I consider the photo as a Streak Keeper. However, to show the process:
This photo shows the starting point, where I sued the two photos from the building and auto-layered and auto-merged them in Photoshop. I could - and should - have done some manual work here. Next time. I then filled in the missing parts of the frame with gen fill and also used it to get rid of the ugly lorry and the fence in the back on the left part of the frame.
What follows this is quite and amount of texture layers. Some may remember Janey Lazenby's workshop about textures and I still love to play with them. They're really good to salvage some crappy photos. Along with the texturing went masking, lightening, darkening, vignetting, blurring, LUTs and adding light flows from the top to add colour to the glaring sunshine.

Absolutely incredible lighting edits. Has that painterly quality. Just lovely, Laney.

Love the dreamy edit and low angle. It looks like the opening shot of a historical period show or movie.
