    The middle one was my group's favourite and for me it was between the two ground photos, too, until I unexpectedly manged to walk out and shoot the birch leaves. All these were pretty straight forward shots of foliage on the ground, the main edit was increasing contrasts, so that there was more depth and the whole thing looked moodier. Plus a finish in NIK Analog to give it the more matte look.

    Somehow this is still one of my favourites, though no one voted for it. One of my first experiences in photography was playing with foliage on trees and see how the picture changed with focus settings and lens compression - although I certainly didn't know the term at the time.
