“ Material of flow ”

The goddess of art at the Reykjavík Art Festival is again my inspiration and now it is the dance work "Alda" that captured my senses this week. The texture of the material that distinguished the audience from the dance artist is so fascinating.

This is perhaps the most intriguing shot this week, Osk! Your approach is so creative, because although a part of my brain can see the subject — the arm, the lines of the fabric — your treatment transports me to an entirely different realm. The softness of color and light are gorgeous and I feel as though I am being invited to step into a painting. Stunning work!!
