Week 9: Macro, 2023

“ a brush ”

First time into macro and boy, is it difficult. i thought i had a good grasp of the rules of light , but when you are photographing something that is 6mm wide like this brush, the inverse square law really bites hard.

Glad you dipped into macro Max , nice pic. As you say light, dof, focus, specular highlights sometimes shutter speed , vibration of your set up, diffraction etc etc all… more
