“ Hide And Seek ”

I visited RHS Garden Wisley to explore architecture designed to fit into landscaped gardens. There's almost too much on offer! I have gone with my heart in choosing this image which features the Chinese Pavilion, by the lake on Seven Acres. I really enjoyed softening it's edges by framing it ...

Love Wisley & used to spend a lot of time there… your beautiful image has taken me right back! You’ve used the foliage very successfully to soften the pavilion yet retained enough of the architectural shape for one to imagine the rest of it. It’s almost like it is playing Hide & Seek with us, echoing the children’s game. There is an impressionist, painterly feel and it reminds me of a Monet painting. Love this! Well done
