“ Normanton Church, Rutland Waters ”
This is only the top floor of the Normanton Church as the rest is underwater. This area was flooded to create Rutland Waters in the 1970s, but they were able to save the top section. The original church, St Matthew’s, was built in the 1700s. Normanton Church is a Grade II listed historic building.
