It was a beautiful day for visiting a National Trust property. I love flowers so it’s always a pleasure to be in there company. You have to get down low for hellebores as they face down. I was lucky with this one.

    I really love hellebores. One of those early spring flowers. Glad you were able to get a great shot from below of what hardy bees would see. The Bokeh and negative space look great. I read an article recently that talked about how some hellebores have yeast colonies growing in their flowers’ nectar and this actually raises the flower temperature by two degrees which appeals to bees more than a chillier flower ??‍♂️??
