    stunning image! For me the split in the face is barely discernable with only the hair colour/volume indicating 2 photos but it comes across as a genuine portrait.

    Both hair colours look great, but you've got to stick with what you're comfortable with.  I like the split photo effect, I think it works really well that there is a clear split as it looks deliberate.  It would've been interesting to see you smiling more in the photo with the hair colour you prefer.  It would help to communicate to the viewer instantly which one you liked better and how you were feeling at the time, but the neutral expression in both definitely works.
