I took the scenic route to get to a nearby city and found a nice place to pull off the road. I wanted to shoot the landscape but I need something in the foreground to make it interesting.

Cool composition! I like the way you offset the ruins slightly to the right, and showed us the landscape on the left. It gives a nice sense of place. Your black and white treatment and the shadows make it feel perhaps a bit eerie to me, which adds interest. I'm not sure how I feel about the graininess of the photo though. I can understand that this may have been an artistic choice to create a specific vibe in the shot. I'm curious if that texture was added in post processing. Nice work this week, and welcome to 52Frames!
