“ New Moon ”

This is not an extreme closeup, but it's as close as I can reach to the moon with my existing gear. Micro Four Thirds and a 400mm lens yielded an equivalent focal length of 800mm. I'm surprised by the level of detail achieved with this relatively inexpensive setup.
