For those who enjoy cycling competitions, each year in July is organised the "Tour de France'". One of the highlights of this competition is cycling to the top of the Mont Ventoux (just under 1900 metres high), which is close to where I live. I love this and think the infrared effect adds a really interesting effect. I followed many Tour de France events and can only image how tough some of those mountains are

Who doesn't know the Mont Ventoux...the most famous, but I have never seen this scenery with this red in it? It is beautiful

That is really cool. I thought that the hills look like they are super hot, yet the snow didn't go with that. IR used here is pretty spectacular.
