I would say that if the tree was not the part in focus this photo would be even that much more stunning. But I love it!

FYI, yours is one of the 3 I was asked to critique before going through the whole album. The first thing that struck me is the glorious, yet understated, radiance of your daughter's beautiful face. A little harder to mess up a portrait when you start

with such a lovely subject. Your sharp focus on her and the tree she was framed against was softened a bit (as should be) to flatter her features. I was just mildly distracted by the bright object just at the point of her right (camera left)

shoulder. I would have tried to avoid it. But it is a GREAT photo!
