I always love the work you share with us. This one is no exception! I actually think the photo would feel rather plain without the etching, and it has a wonderful "mixed media" feel to it. I like the mix of two dimensional line designs and the three dimensional figure. Like I said, it almost has a collage-like feel achieved using mixed media. Very cool! I admire your bravery, as I would be too scared to mess up with the etching effect (plus, my drawing skills are pretty sub par). Great job!

Wow Eric. That is a really interesting approach to image creation. I was always careful not to create scratches in the emulsion. The effect is nice, and it would be really stunning if it was in the same focus plane as the eyes. Hope you perfect this one.

Wow! Those beautiful roses look like they've been etched into the background behind her, not into the plate which supports her image. It's a gentle counterpoint to her tattoo. This image kind of reminds me of Dia de los Muertos.
