“ Conscience ”

This is actually one of the government buildings. I was passing by it at nighttime and thought about how beautiful it was.

It just reminds me so much of judgment day, portrayed by the head looking down on all of us to see our actions, and the skies giving us hope.

Somewhere I can hear Judge Claude Frollo singing "Hellfire" ? Such an amazingly atmospheric piece, the imposing edifice a looming, apocryphal hierophant looking to weigh your soul against a feather. All of it reinforced by the utterly unforgiving, stark texture of the stone and the wooden doors, heavy, heavy, heavy. Ugh love it <3
