    Good to try something new - I agree that lighting could be brighter, one technique to help reduce or eliminate glare is to have light but using white paper over the top… more

    Good to try something new - I agree that lighting could be brighter, one technique to help reduce or eliminate glare is to have light but using white paper over the top of it or a piece of thin cloth to tone down the brightness. Or use reflected light - pointing the light at white paper to reflect light onto your subject.

    As you already said yourself, it would have been nice if the flowers were a little lighter, but the setup idea is nice!
