Equipped with a 35mm lens, I had a difficult time with this week's challenge. Couldn't get my mindset off of macro. Then I thought about filling the frame and couldn't get my mind off of a close-up portrait or a dog's nose. Wanted something a bit more original, and this is what I came up with...

I really like the contemplative feel of this shot. The fallen leaves and lonely bench make for a lovely sense of longing or nostalgia. Adding to this the lovely bokeh effect with blurred foreground and background elements, and I think you've created a story out of focus and light that is quite evocative of time and memory. I like that the framing through the bench makes it feel like the viewer is perhaps spying the scene through a peephole. Great job adapting the challenge in a creative and interesting way.

I do love the "shoot through" element of this. The pop of color from the yellow leaves that draw my eye and the detail on the opposite armrest.

I think it's a great perspective Alexander. I like the depth of field and the tiny focus on the leaves.
