“ Teals ”
I grabbed a 70-300mm lens this week and tried my hand at some bird photos. While I wasn't close or fast enough to get much detail (or focus!) on songbirds, I was able to get pretty close to the ducks in the park, even these green-winged teals! I liked the composition of this photo, even though ...

    Nice job getting the ducks. You captured the predominately monochromatic detail on the female and the color details of the male

    The soft haze frames the ducks well, and the pop of green wing is wonderful. Great feather details. It seems they are deep in conversation about something here.
