“ Powerfully Understated ”

The geometry of the patterns in the ceiling of this 11th c. church are mesmerizing. St. Kilian's, in Heilbronn, Germany, was heavily damaged by allied bombing in WWII, but it has been masterfully restored. The entire church is beautifully simple in its design.

Ah this is fun geometry and a great upward angle for the shot! Looks like you found a sweet spot with the lighting/exposure as well.

The hanging thing in the lower right corner feels a little visually distracting, so you might play with the direction/composition to either remove it or put it fully in the image (away from the edge the tiniest bit).
