I love the simple/not simple subject you chose in the foreground, it is so interesting and your background both highlights is and intern is highlighted by the foreground. The blur is so soft and nice to look at and then you have this beacon of bokeh in the lighthouse. so subtle and simple. beautiful. I hope you print it.

    Nicely done Vanessa. I very much like that the object that commands my attention is out of focus, yet unmistakeable. It's a delicate thing to want the viewer to pay more attention to what is blurred. The narrow colour palette definitely helps with the task.
