“ Wigwam Motel ”
Was attending a conference this week and didn't have the opportunity to get a glowy, golden hour backlit photo. So I took this photo facing the morning sun. To give it a warmer vibe, I brazenly stole the color scheme from Wes Anderson's Asteroid City movie.

Lovely composition, and brimming with old-timey vibe. Now what will you do when we get the “triangle” challenge??

Jeez, Ali... Can't wait to see what you submit for this week's Wabi-Sabi. If you were my age you would appreciate the impact of that late 60's/early 70's Chevy muscle car. Love the motif, too. Your color palette looks like you "aged" a little--did you? You're almost daring us to chide you for a somewhat mundane composition. But then it feels like you're just waiting for the opportunity to say, "Yeah? So? What could be more mundanely cool than a place like this, butthead?!" A very cool shot!

Love the nostalgia of your image, Ali!  Sometimes we just have to go with what we have available.

    Hey I've been here!
Great Route 66 photo! Love how the backlight casts the shadow!
