Even weeds look good in golden hour. Had to take 3 shots and blend them in Photoshop to get most of the plant in focus.

    Ali, I really like the concept and approach here. I'm not sure what "blending" approach you were taking (HDR? Stacking?) but I think maybe something went slightly askew, because your final rendition looks slightly out of focus. Maybe your long focal length (145mm)? Were you using autofocus? I love the intent and approach, because your bokeh in the background is SO nice, as are exposure and color palette. Just thought I'd ask what might have softened the main subject.

    THe blending has worked so well, I love the cool colour cast as the bottom edge gradiating into the warmer tones of the top of the image too.  The background does a wonderful job of making the subject pop while still being interesting itself.
