Week 39: Letters, 2022

“ Q is for Queen ”

This is a large letter painted on the side of an old tour boat. I like the way it disappears as a letter as you look at the brush strokes, and the imperfections of something done by hand.

I have always liked they typography of hand lettering. I like how your close up of the sign amplifies the detail of the brush strokes.
