As usual I rushed something on Sunday afternoon... and when I asked for feed back I was told it was a tad on the boring side... then I remembered the school workshop I gave on Wed... I went through all of my test shots and found this.

    My first effort:

    Like Watching Paint Dry:
    This is my mother's apartment wall and door frame... all of it is the same colour (a white variant). I did like the tonal shifts of each plane, and as I was using Nik Collection Silver FX for the black and white conversion, this frame popped up in an option... which I would usually avoid... but the black line blended in with the door frame line so well I decided to keep it in.
    I do think there is a certain amount of tension in the composition - but I did have some feedback that this was a boring photo... hence the title!

    The water drop IS a lot more dynamic! Although the biggest challenge with that photo was cleaning up all of the crap left by the dirty senor (I must get around to cleaning all the school cameras!)
