    I'm learning that acorns can look different in different areas. I had no idea!!  The same days as I got my photo I found a bazillion of them and took them home for MY backyard squirrels!!  They are so happy!!  Whoops - back to the photo....  I wonder if it was dropped by a crow trying to open it?  I love your DOF and the placement of the acorn. And I love that it has that huge shadow.  Beautiful job!!
