    This is an interesting, evocative self-portrait—especially so as rendered in B&W. "Good" self-portraits (i.e., those done with genuine, in-the-moment expression that evoke a sense of self) are hard to do. Only you can judge whether you accomplished that here, but I like it a lot. I have found that it helps to allow plenty of time; plan it out; sometimes it helps to have a partner to help with the actual shooting, though I have come to rely on timed shutter release or (occasionally) remote trigger (or both). I took a quick look at your 52F portfolio, and stylistically this one is SO different from your "Hello 2024" self-portrait in January. Which one is you? Well done with both!
