“ Overlord ”

I don't usually see great blue herons high up in trees, but today was not a usual day. From its perch on a branch far up and extending over the pond, the heron sees all.

Ha! Overlord, indeed. The hunched posture of the heron kind of makes it seem a tad bit sinister. Love the sharpness, details and contrast. Well done.
