“ Quiet backyard devotion ”

A neighbor has an outdoor statue of Mary, a classic for so many homes in Greater Boston. I pass by her often, where she silently stands watching, and though I am not a believer, I like to think she's glad to have me around for company even though I am an unashamed gay man living my life.
